This role:

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO governance processes, standards and controls across the project portfolio.
  • Coordinate project stage gate reviews, ensuring governance requirements, approvals and documentation are completed in line with PMO standards.
  • Maintain accurate project and portfolio data, documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce and maintain portfolio dashboards, KPI reporting and management information to support project and business performance monitoring.
  • Analyse project and portfolio data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the tracking of project budgets, forecasts, cost performance and portfolio profitability.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure reporting accuracy and alignment.
  • Maintain portfolio RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and actions are accurately tracked and updated.
  • Support the monitoring and escalation of key project risks, issues and governance concerns where appropriate.
  • Assist with resource planning, utilisation reporting and capacity forecasting activities across the project portfolio.
  • Coordinate Project Review Boards, governance forums and reporting meetings, ensuring actions are recorded and tracked through to completion.
  • Prepare governance packs, reports, presentations and supporting materials for senior leadership and stakeholder reviews.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of PMO systems, reporting tools and project management platforms.
  • Assist with project change control activities, ensuring approved changes are accurately captured and reflected within project reporting.
  • Support the capture, maintenance and sharing of lessons learned and best practice across projects and programmes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, governance effectiveness, process efficiency and portfolio visibility.
  • Build effective working relationships across project delivery, operational and business support functions.
  • Promote adherence to PMO standards, governance requirements and project management best practice.

You will have a proven track record of:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of project governance, controls and reporting processes.
  • Ability to interpret project, commercial and financial data to support decision making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You’ll be a successful PMO Analyst at Sinewave if you have:

  • Experience working within a PMO, project support, project controls or project governance environment.
  • Experience supporting project reporting, performance monitoring and governance activities desirable.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle management, project controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation, RAID logs, dashboards and management information desirable.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting or project performance analysis desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools.
  • Experience using project management systems such as Procore, MS Project, Power BI or equivalent platforms.
  • APM, PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management qualification desirable.
  • Experience within infrastructure, utilities, engineering or construction sectors desirable.
