The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The ideal candidate will be coordinating and overseeing the creation & approval of packaging artworks, attending project meetings, and liaising with external stakeholders such as packaging suppliers and artwork workflow system providers. They will also liaise with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Vigilance, and Supply Chain/Manufacturing Teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the pack change process for all packaging designs and applicable artworks while leading a small team.
- Controlling and developing brand consistency and print feasibility.
- Assessing and identifying the impact of required changes to packaging artworks and actively participating in change control management related to artwork and packaging change processes.
- Managing a small team coordinating artwork generation with a third party.
- Managing the account with a third-party artwork company.
- Managing relationships with third parties and internal stakeholders from key departments.
- Being the key contact for packaging design changes within the group, including liaison with the Marketing Team as needed.
- Assessing and agreeing on key approved suppliers for all packaging items.
- Providing updates to the manufacturing sites regarding packaging and artwork timelines/availability.
- Providing updates to the Demand, Customer Service, and Inventory teams regarding packaging and artwork timelines.
- Controlling packaging and artwork-related change control documentation in accordance with relevant SOPs and ensuring material specifications are kept up to date.
- Controlling barcodes, GTINs, UDI, and eIFU (including online portals where applicable).
- Performing admin tasks as required, including selected label printing in-house and/or ordering as needed.
Qualifications:
- GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent).
- Fluent or native English.
- Strong project management skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, logical and numerate.
- Team leadership skills.
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite.
- Microsoft Office skills and PC literate, including Excel.
- Effective communication.
- Preferred to have experience of working in a regulated environment such as Pharmaceuticals.
- Preferred 5+ years experience in artwork and print specialising in packaging, print, and processes.
