The Role

You will oversee the daily operations of the Used Vehicle Sales Department, ensuring sales targets, profitability, and customer service standards are consistently achieved. You will lead and develop a high-performing team while maintaining compliance with company and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets
  • Recruit, coach, and support ongoing development
  • Set and monitor sales objectives and performance plans
  • Forecast sales, profitability, and departmental performance
  • Drive vehicle, finance, insurance, and add-on product sales

More About You

As our ideal Sales Manager, you will ideally have experience as a Sales Manager/Business Manager within the motor trade, or an alternative industry but be able to demonstrate key customer handling, managerial and organisational skills. You will also require the following skills and experience:

  • Strong track record of delivering results and managing teams
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Commercially aware and target-driven
  • Skilled in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of finance, insurance, and FCA regulations
  • Highly organised and adaptable
  • Full UK driving licence
