The Aftersales Department at Volkswagen Newport has an opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester who is enthusiastic, punctual and can work within a team.
Full time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Saturday morning on a rota basis.
Position pays: £28,500 basic, £33,000 OTE.
Location: Volkswagen Newport NP19 0NE.
The Opportunity:
Volkswagen Newport is currently looking for an experienced MOT Tester. You will be responsible for carrying out routine MOT Tests to customers' vehicles and remedial work that is authorised for the car to pass.
More about you:
- As an MOT Tester, you will require a full UK driving license and be fully qualified and approved by the DVSA.
- You will need to have good teamwork skills and a great work ethic.
- You will also contribute to a great customer experience by completing video health checks.
Day to day duties:
- Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines.
- Reporting additional faults requiring attention.
- Completing a full write-up of work completed and electronic Health checks.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed promptly.
- Maintaining tools, whether own or company, in a safe and clean condition.
