The Aftersales Department at Volkswagen Newport have an opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester who is enthusiastic, punctual and can work within a team.
Job Title: MOT Tester
Full time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Saturday morning on a rota basis
Location: Volkswagen Newport NP19 0NE
Salary: £28,500 basic £33,000 OT
The Opportunity
Volkswagen Newport is currently looking for an experienced MOT Tester, who is enthusiastic, punctual and can work within a team. You will be responsible for carrying out routine MOT Tests to customers vehicles and remedial work that is authorised for the car to pass.
As You Bring
As an MOT Tester, we will require you to have a full UK driving license and be fully qualified and approved by the DVSA. You will need to have good teamwork skills and a great work ethic. You will also contribute to a great customer experience by completing video health checks.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines
- Report additional faults requiring attention
- Complete a full write up of work completed and electronic Health checks
- Ensure all documentation is completed promptly
- Maintain tools (whether own or company) in a safe and clean condition
