Sinclair Motor Group is seeking an exceptional and commercially driven Head of Business to lead our Land Rover operations across Hay on Wye and Newport. Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall business performance across Hay on Wye and Newport.
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with Group and manufacturer objectives.
  • Drive sustainable growth across new vehicle, used vehicle, aftersales, finance and retention performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop department managers and their teams to create a high‑performance culture.
  • Protect and enhance customer experience standards across both businesses.
  • Ensure all regulatory, legal and manufacturer compliance requirements are maintained.
  • Monitor and report business performance using key operational and financial measures.
  • Ensure optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources.
  • Promote and nurture a client‑care culture consistent with the expectations of Land Rover and Sinclair Motor Group.

Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience within the automotive sector, ideally at the General Sales Manager or Head of Business level.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering growth and profitability.
  • Ability to lead from the front, inspire teams and build a high‑performance culture.
  • A strategic mindset combined with hands‑on operational leadership.
