Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff is currently looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Prep Technician, who is enthusiastic, punctual and can work within a team.
Full time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Saturday morning on a rota basis.
Salary: £28,000 basic £41,500 OTE (dependant on experience)
Location: Volkswagen Cardiff
The overall purpose of the role is to carry pre-delivery inspections on a range of new and used vehicles to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on used vehicles.
- Preparing used vehicles ready for sale.
- Maintenance of all equipment to the highest standard.
- Advising the workshop controller of any improvements to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
- Carrying out any other reasonable task which may arise.
Qualifications
- A good level of technical knowledge, ability and experience in the mechanical and technical repair.
- Ability to organise own workload, work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- A current full driving Licence.
