General Sales Manager - Land Rover Hyundai Aberystwyth
Hours: Full Time including every other weekend with a day off in the week
Salary: Basic Salary + Performance related bonus with an OTE of £70,000 + Company Car
The Opportunity
Land Rover & Hyundai Aberystwyth, part of the family-owned Sinclair Group, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Sales Manager to lead our Sales Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven automotive sales leader to take ownership of a dual franchise operation, driving sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Working closely with the Head of Business and wider leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results across new and used vehicle sales, finance and insurance performance, customer experience and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Drive performance across new and used vehicle sales, finance, insurance and value-added products.
- Maximise enquiry conversion through effective CRM management and sales process control.
- Maintain strong oversight of vehicle valuations, part exchanges, pricing and deal profitability.
- Manage used vehicle stock, ensuring effective stock turn, preparation and ageing control.
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and effectively resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Ensure compliance with FCA, Consumer Duty, GDPR, manufacturer and Sinclair Group standards.
- Analyse performance data, identify opportunities and implement actions to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in automotive sales management.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering profitable results.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
- A thorough understanding of used vehicle stock management, vehicle valuations and deal structuring.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a disciplined approach to process management.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Previous premium brand or JLR experience would be advantageous.
