Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota
Salary: £28,000 - £42,000 OTE (depending on experience and qualifications)
Jaguar Land Rover Cardiff, part of the Sinclair Group, is looking for a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team. Whether you're an experienced Level 3 Service & MOT Technician or looking to further develop your automotive career, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Qualified Vehicle Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional client experience by keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and roadworthy. Working with a skilled team and industry-leading equipment, you'll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fault-finding to manufacturer and MOT standards while maintaining accurate records and high levels of quality and safety.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair (or equivalent BTEC/City & Guilds qualification)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly
- A commitment to ongoing training and development
- The ability to carry out quality checks and road tests following repairs
- Previous experience within a franchise retailer environment is desirable, as is experience mentoring junior technicians
- Knowledge of electric vehicles would be an advantage
