Role Description
The Print Finisher is a full-time, on-site role based at Sinatra Marketing Group’s Rayleigh facility. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining finishing equipment to trim, fold, saddle stitch and package printed materials according to job specifications. Daily tasks include reviewing job tickets, setting up machinery, performing quality checks, and ensuring finished products meet client and postal requirements. The Print Finisher collaborates closely with the print production and mailing teams to coordinate schedules, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role may also involve basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and assisting with packaging and dispatch to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience using tools and equipment relevant to print finishing, including safe operation of power tools where required.
- Ability to learn and follow structured training on print finishing processes, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and follow job specifications, and commitment to consistent quality output.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to stand, lift, and move materials in a production environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a production team.
- Previous experience in print production, finishing, or a related manufacturing environment is an advantage.
