About the role
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes infrastructure.
You’ll play a key role in operating and enhancing our Kubernetes environments, containerised workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving platform resilience, and enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.
About you
- Strong experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong understanding of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience managing cloud‑native applications and microservices architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and deployment automation.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
- Good understanding of Linux systems administration.
- Experience troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Knowledge of networking principles including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and TLS/SSL.
- Experience working within Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Experience with Amazon EKS.
- Exposure to Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of security best practices within AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Helm, Argo CD, or other Git Ops tooling.
- Familiarity with Postgre SQL, My SQL, or other database technologies.
- Experience supporting Saa S platforms.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Sys Ops Administrator.
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or similar).
