QHSE Taskforce, a leading Residential Developer and Main Contractor, is looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to join their growing operation based out of Birmingham. You will ensure consistent quality & compliance standards are applied to ensure that business processes are compliant with the company-wide management system. You will play a key role in ensuring the business maintains its ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations and will have a particularly good understanding of Quality management in relation to housebuilding or construction projects.
This role could suit a Site Manager with strong QA/QC experience and an understanding of the wider technical standards such as NHBC, or an accomplished Quality Manager from a construction or housebuilding background.
Key Responsibilities:- Internally and externally auditing to ensure compliance.
- Liaising with professional certification body for ISO accreditations.
- Leading continuous improvement of the standard practices and procedures through stakeholder engagement.
- Liaising with all business units to provide contractual and technical advice in respect to quality issues as and when required.
- Undertaking Quality Site inspections in accordance with Warranty Technical Standards.
- Driving the Quality Assurance and Control at project level.
- Leading the procedural development to support construction delivery.
- Develop and maintain company audit systems.
- Experience within a housebuilding or construction environment (ESSENTIAL).
- A Construction qualification.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent report-writing and IT skills.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ESSENTIAL).
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 (preferable).
- Proven internal auditing skills.
