Are you an experienced CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, CNC Setter Operator or CNC Programmer looking for a days-based role with an established engineering business in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire? This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering company that designs and builds bespoke equipment and precision-engineered components. The role is initially being offered on a contract basis for up to 3 months to support a busy period, but there is a strong possibility of a permanent role for the right person.
You will be working with HAAS vertical machining centres and CNC lathes, producing high-grade stainless-steel components used within bespoke engineering projects.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC machines
- Working on HAAS vertical machining centres and CNC lathes
- Producing precision stainless steel components
- Using engineering drawings to manufacture accurate components
- Maintaining CNC machines, tooling and related equipment
- Supporting the wider build and assembly of bespoke machinery and equipment
- Working to quality standards and tight tolerances
The Candidate
- CNC programming, setting and operating
- HAAS CNC machines, including vertical machining centres and/or lathes
- Autodesk Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
- Machining stainless steel or other high-grade materials
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working in a precision engineering, manufacturing or machinery build environment
