The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative design projects, independently and alongside the other design team members
  • Translate design concepts and client briefs into detailed presentations and supporting documentation
  • Communicate the design with the client to ensure a smooth sign off process
  • Research and select materials that fit within the concept design brief and budget
  • Build supplier relationships and pursue creative and sustainable new approaches
  • Work through all project stages in line with the RIBA structure
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and the wider professional project teams during all stages of the project
  • Attend client and site meetings, presenting ideas alongside senior design team members and independently
  • Problem solve and address design challenges proactively
  • Support the business in its day‑to‑day functions, including mentoring junior members of the team when needed

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience at mid‑weight level in luxury residential and commercial sectors
  • Ability to manage own clients and projects, working closely with other project team members
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, In Design, Photoshop, Sketch Up and Microsoft Office
  • Free‑hand sketching is a bonus but not essential
  • Capacity to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Self‑motivated, proactive with an ability to take initiative
  • Good team player, assisting and supporting colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Passionate about design, with a deep understanding of materials, heritage buildings and keen attention to detail
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
