We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our Client Services team and help us deliver an exceptional experience for our clients. Sims Creative is an independent creative agency for the energy transition. We work with ambitious B2B brands on everything from brand identity and campaigns to ongoing creative delivery support (through our Creative as a Service model). You’ll report directly to our Client Services Director and support more junior members of the team in a place where ideas matter and opinions are essential. You’ll help shape the work, the relationships, and the direction of the agency, not just keep jobs moving along. If you’re ambitious and looking for somewhere small (but growing) where you can make a big impact, shape your future and develop into an Account Director, this is the place for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building strong stakeholder relationships
- Anticipating client needs before they ask, constantly thinking of new ideas and shaping speculative proposals
- Working with clients to establish and scope their briefs, advising and guiding where needed
- Confidently leading on a portfolio of accounts, supporting other team members to deliver excellent work
- Helping to turn business challenges into inspiring creative briefs
- Advising clients on their budgets, managing retainers and keeping client accounts running financially efficiently and effectively to ensure they are receiving value
- Adding strategic and creative value at every stage of the process from initial planning and strategy through to creative and design execution
- Overseeing and managing multiple projects to keep things on brief, on time and on budget
What we’re looking for:
- An experienced Senior Account Manager with over 5 years B2B agency-side experience
- Someone with a proven track record of planning and delivering integrated campaigns
- A confident, clear communicator who can organise and persuasively present ideas both visually and verbally
- Experience in utilities, energy, clean-tech, or broader automotive / tech would be hugely beneficial
- A strategic, creative and organised person – able to look at the big picture and the minute details
- Someone who is calm under pressure and leads with empathy but honesty
- Strong creative judgement, knowing what good looks like
- High standards for yourself and those around you, wanting to constantly make things better
- Positive energy, down-to-earth attitude and alignment with our values: creativity, empathy, and clarity
In return, expect:
- Competitive salary (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working with regular time in our Loughborough studio
- Christmas Closure
- A grounded, supportive team with no big egos
- The chance to work on interesting, exciting clients who are making a difference
- A clear progression path with a skills matrix and personal development programme
- Hands on mentoring from our Client Services Director
We welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, gender, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, marital status, disability or social background. This is a great opportunity for someone to come and make a difference.
