The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.
Hours required are variable (typically 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday initially and moving to 7am-6pm/7pm Monday-Friday and possibly 7am-2pm Saturday at the busiest times) during harvest preparation/training but moving to 12 hour shifts at the busiest times. Night shift may be required.
Laboratory Technicians:
- Weighing vehicles in and out of site.
- Visual examination of grain from viewing platform.
- Testing of grain using various pieces of laboratory equipment.
- Recording of results.
- Inputting results into computer spreadsheets and databases.
- Manual sampling of grain stored in sheds.
Key requirements:
- Flexibility with working hours.
