Typical 8-hour shift, 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday out-with harvest and typical 12-hour day-shifts or night-shifts (7.00am to 7.00pm / 7.00pm to 7.00am) during the busy harvest period.
Key Tasks:
- Tipping lorries into barley holding bins, grain drying and maintaining high standards of hygiene on the intakes throughout the day.
- Loading of lorries with loading shovel.
- Operating driers, conveyors and elevators.
- Use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP).
- Basic site maintenance.
- General site cleanliness.
Key Requirements:
- Flexibility with working hours.
- Basic computer skills, especially when programming equipment and ensuring machine controls are set correctly.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Granary experience preferred, however full training will be provided.
- Good team player.
- Be able to work without supervision.
