They are currently seeking a Marketing Lead to head up their marketing function, with line management responsibility for the marketing team, based at one of their subsidiaries in Lichfield WS13. Alongside running day-to-day digital, content and campaign activity, you will hold budget responsibility for marketing spend and work closely with Group Marketing to ensure plans, messaging and brand positioning are aligned at a group level.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can ensure marketing effort and spend are focused in the right places, bringing a test and learn approach to continually improve marketing effectiveness and demonstrate return on investment. It is a genuinely varied role, part strategic planning, part hands-on delivery, suited to someone who enjoys both setting direction and getting content and campaigns out of the door, as well as leading and developing the wider marketing team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Strategic Marketing, Effectiveness & Group Alignment
  • Team Leadership & Budget Management
  • Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Materials & Brand Sales Support & Events

About You

  • Proven experience in a marketing role covering both digital delivery and strategic planning.
  • Comfortable working at both a hands-on level and a strategic level, and able to move between the two.
  • Well organised, with strong prioritisation and time management skills across multiple projects.
  • Experience of leading or managing a marketing team, with responsibility for a marketing budget.
  • Through the line marketing experience, covering the full range of channels rather than a purely digital focus.
  • Experience across both B2B and B2C / e-commerce marketing would be ideal.
  • A strategic thinker, comfortable taking a test and learn approach to ensure marketing effort is focused where it delivers the greatest impact.

What's on Offer

  • Salary of £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience.
