Solicitor – Military Injury Claims
Location: Remote (with monthly travel to Manchester); applicants from Liverpool, Manchester, or Leeds are especially encouraged
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time | Permanent
Salary: Competitive + On-Target Bonus

Play a Key Role in Military Injury Law
We’re looking for both a full time and a part time experienced Solicitor with a strong background in military personal injury law to join our Military Department . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting current and former service personnel through complex legal challenges.
You’ll manage a mixed caseload with a focus on high-value Military claims , including Clinical Negligence and other serious personal injury matters. The role also offers the opportunity to carry out your own advocacy and contribute to shaping the direction and profile of our growing military law practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage a high-value Military injury caseload (including multi-track matters)
- Conduct your own advocacy where appropriate
- Represent clients across a range of issues such as NFCI, bullying and harassment, and other complex claims
- Draft pleadings and quantum assessments, advise on Part 36 offers, and instruct Counsel and medical experts
- Use case management systems and maintain accurate, timely file and diary records
- Maintain compliance with Money Laundering and Data Protection regulations
- Build referral networks and develop relationships with local and national partners
- Support marketing and business development efforts including web content and firm-wide initiatives
- Mentor or support junior colleagues, contributing to team collaboration and performance
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years PQE with a demonstrable track record in Military personal injury law
- Advocacy experience or interest is essential
- Excellent working knowledge of CPR, litigation procedures, and case law
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and client-care skills
- Excellent IT literacy and comfort with case management systems
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines effectively
- A commercially minded, collaborative team player with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation
- Willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities
