This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Grade A or B Solicitor to join our Military team, managing a caseload of military injury & accident claims, as well as conducting their own advocacy.
The team manage a specialist caseload of claims relating to military claims including:
- Military Training Accidents
- Military Parachute Accident Claims
- Military Non Freezing Cold Injury Claims
- Armed Forces Medical Negligence Claims
- Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Claims
- Military Bullying and Harassment Claims
- Sea King Helicopter Cancer Claims
- Military Hearing Loss Claims
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a caseload of Military matters
- Effectively and efficiently conduct cases on behalf of clients in accordance with the overall policies and objectives of the firm;
- Develop local business to secure referrals;
- Participate in the development, marketing and success of the Military Department
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales and hold a current practising certificate
- Be grade A or B
- Have proven experience managing a complex caseload of either military claims or complex personal injury / industrial disease claims
- Exceptional legal expertise and strong advocacy skills.
- Have a Good track record of consistently achieving billing and time recording targets
- Have an ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism when advising clients and their families on complex and often emotionally challenging issues.
