A highly ranked Legal 500 firm is seeking Debt Recovery paralegals to join their growing disputes team, with a focus on debt recovery matters. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced paralegals and ambitious postgraduates who have specialised in commercial litigation or debt recovery to develop their careers within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting fee earners with a caseload of commercial litigation matters, with a strong focus on debt recovery
  • Drafting legal documents including letters before action, claims, and court documents
  • Managing pre-action and litigation processes in line with relevant protocols and procedures
  • Liaising with clients, debtors, solicitors, and third parties to progress matters efficiently
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
  • Supporting with file management, compliance, and administrative tasks
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring cases progress in a timely manner
  • Assisting with enforcement actions including CCJs and other recovery methods

Requirements

  • Previous experience within commercial litigation or debt recovery is desirable but not essential
  • Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution
  • Law degree (LLB/GDL) or equivalent, with relevant specialisation preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
