An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Private Client Paralegal / Trainee Legal Executive to join an established and well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool City Centre. This role would suit a motivated individual with a genuine interest in Private Client work, particularly trusts, probate, wills and estate planning. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment with strong opportunities for training, development and long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will support solicitors within the Private Client department and assist with a varied caseload of matters including:

  • Wills
  • Probate
  • Trusts
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Estate administration

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of Private Client files
  • Conducting legal research and preparing relevant documentation
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Supporting administrative tasks relating to estate administration

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally within Private Client law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems

Desirable Experience:

  • Legal qualification or relevant Paralegal training
  • Previous exposure to wills, probate, trusts or estate administration matters
