The Role
- Manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of claimant matters.
- Managing claimant personal injury and clinical negligence files from instruction through to settlement or trial.
- Advising clients throughout the litigation process.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal correspondence.
- Conducting negotiations and progressing claims efficiently.
- Attending client meetings, conferences and court hearings where required.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding client service.
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department.
About You
- Around 2+ years' PQE in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence.
- Experience acting for claimants.
- Experience independently managing a caseload.
- Strong technical litigation skills.
- Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High levels of professionalism and attention to detail.
- A genuine desire to continue developing their career within claimant litigation.
