We're looking for a Commercial Property Assistant to join a small, friendly and highly successful legal team that specialises in corporate acquisitions, commercial property and employment law. Our focus is simple: deliver exceptional client service so clients return again and again. And they do – consistently. That says everything about the team you’d be joining.
Location – Hybrid. 20 minutes outside Sheffield city centre, 30 minutes from Derby city centre. Ideally located for candidates across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting Consultant Solicitors on commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases and landlord & tenant matters.
- Client onboarding and compliance checks.
- Conducting property searches and assisting with enquiries.
- Preparing reports and providing client updates via email and telephone.
- Preparing Land Registry and SDLT forms.
- Keeping the case management system up to date.
- Monitoring Land Registry applications and handling requisitions.
- General administration to support excellent client service across the firm.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 12 months experience in commercial property (essential requirement).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Confident liaising with clients by email and telephone.
- Proactive, professional and able to work in a fast‑moving environment.
- A team player who cares about quality and client service.
