An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Serious Injury team with a strong reputation for handling complex, high-value claimant work. This role offers the chance to work on life-changing cases involving catastrophic and serious injuries, supporting clients and their families through some of the most challenging circumstances of their lives. The successful candidate will become part of a specialist team recognised for delivering exceptional outcomes in complex litigation.
The Role
- You will be involved in a broad range of serious injury claims, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, polytrauma, and other catastrophic injury matters.
- Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will assist with and progressively manage a caseload of significant value and complexity, often involving substantial damages awards.
- Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with and managing serious and catastrophic injury claims from inception to conclusion.
- Working closely with clients, families, medical professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and external experts.
- Preparing legal documentation, witness statements, schedules of loss, and court papers.
- Instructing and liaising with counsel, medical experts, and other professionals involved in the litigation process.
- Attending client meetings, conferences with experts, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations.
- Supporting the delivery of outstanding client care throughout the lifetime of each claim.
About You
- To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience handling serious injury, catastrophic injury, or complex claimant personal injury matters.
- A solid understanding of claimant litigation and the procedural aspects of high-value injury claims.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
