Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative and typing support to fee earners
  • Manage incoming correspondence, including scanning and distributing post
  • Handle new client enquiries and assist with onboarding processes
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients via phone, email and in person
  • Coordinate diaries, schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Assist with case management and document preparation under supervision
  • Prepare files for client meetings and court hearings
  • Conduct conflict checks and support compliance procedures
  • Assist with billing, including drafting invoices and cost schedules
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing systems using case management software
  • Provide general administrative support and reception cover when required
  • Attend departmental and firm-wide meetings

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative background (essential)
  • Experience within a legal or family law environment (desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems (Tikit experience advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Professional, discreet and client-focused approach
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
