Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative and typing support to fee earners
- Manage incoming correspondence, including scanning and distributing post
- Handle new client enquiries and assist with onboarding processes
- Act as a first point of contact for clients via phone, email and in person
- Coordinate diaries, schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with case management and document preparation under supervision
- Prepare files for client meetings and court hearings
- Conduct conflict checks and support compliance procedures
- Assist with billing, including drafting invoices and cost schedules
- Maintain accurate and organised filing systems using case management software
- Provide general administrative support and reception cover when required
- Attend departmental and firm-wide meetings
Skills & Experience
- Strong administrative background (essential)
- Experience within a legal or family law environment (desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems (Tikit experience advantageous)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Professional, discreet and client-focused approach
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
