I'm working with a well-established regional law firm that's looking to grow its Residential Property team by bringing on an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor. It's a great opportunity for someone who's confident managing their own files and wants to join a genuinely supportive and friendly team. You'll find flexibility, progression, and a steady, manageable caseload.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage your own end-to-end caseload of residential property work, including:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages and transfers of equity
    • Shared ownership, lease extensions, and new builds
    • More complex matters like trust, probate, matrimonial, and attorney-related cases
    • Take care of post‐completion work (Land Registry applications, MR01 submissions, title registration, etc.).
  • Work independently with support from the team when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and handle client‐facing duties with attention to detail.
  • Possibly support or mentor junior team members, depending on experience.

What they're looking for:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX with solid residential conveyancing experience.
  • Comfortable managing your own caseload from start to finish.
  • Confident handling more complex matters (or happy to learn).
  • Organised, accurate, and proactive in keeping matters moving.
  • Good working knowledge of case management systems and Microsoft Office.

What's on offer:

  • Competitive salary (based on experience)
  • Hybrid and flexible working options
  • Enhanced holiday allowance and family‐friendly benefits
  • Private healthcare or cashback scheme
  • Pension contribution
  • Regular training, mentoring, and genuine progression opportunities
  • A positive, supportive culture that values quality work and a healthy work‐life balance

This role would suit someone who enjoys residential conveyancing and wants to be part of a team where they'll be trusted to do good work, encouraged to develop, and supported to balance life and career.
