Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal
Salary: 24,500 – 27,500
Hours: full time
Location: Cheltenham, full time in the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and review client documentation, including proof of identity, property details, and financial information, to support residential property transactions such as equity release and lifetime mortgages.
Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with current laws and regulations.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, answering queries, and offering guidance throughout the process.
Liaise with financial advisers, surveyors, and other professionals to co-ordinate the progress of cases efficiently.
Organise and update case files, both electronic and physical, to ensure all documentation is complete and easily accessible.
Manage scheduling and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Support billing processes, including preparing invoices, tracking payments, and assisting with financial reporting.
Generate reports on case progress, client interactions, and other relevant metrics to support operational oversight.

DESIRED/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience supporting residential property transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to manage client communications and maintain professional relationships with advisers, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with case management systems
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
Highly motivated with a proactive approach to work and a collaborative team player mindset.
