We are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a friendly and supportive legal team based in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and client-focused legal professional who is keen to progress their career within a well-established, forward-thinking firm.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to post-completion. This will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Re-mortgages
  • New build transactions
  • Shared ownership and Help to Buy matters

The successful candidate will be confident in handling files independently while maintaining a high standard of client care throughout.

About You

We are particularly interested in candidates who are qualified as either a Solicitor or CILEX Residential Conveyancer, although applications are also welcomed from:

  • Licensed Conveyancers
  • CILEX Lawyers
  • Experienced fee-earning Paralegals with a strong background in residential conveyancing

You will:

  • Have demonstrable experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team

Working Arrangements

Full-time (5 days per week) or 4 days per week considered. Office-based in Newark initially. Following successful completion of a 6-month probation period, there may be scope for hybrid working (subject to Partners’ discretion). Opportunity to work from the West Bridgford office where appropriate after probation.
