An established and growing law firm based in central Manchester is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior conveyancing experience to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting fee earners with the management of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties to provide updates and request information
  • Handling administrative tasks including file opening, ID checks, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ordering searches and reviewing documentation
  • Supporting with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Managing incoming calls and emails, ensuring a high level of client care at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a conveyancing or residential property team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
