An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor (1–4 PQE) to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team within a well-established London law firm.

The firm has a strong reputation in real estate and commercial matters, advising a broad client base including property companies, investors, developers and high-net-worth individuals.

The disputes team is known for its partner-led approach and high-quality work, regularly acting on complex matters including property-related disputes, often with an international element.

The firm is a London-based commercial practice with strengths across real estate, corporate, dispute resolution and private wealth.

It is particularly well regarded for its real estate expertise, advising on significant development and investment matters, which in turn generates a steady flow of high-quality disputes work.

The Role

You will work as part of a collaborative disputes team with a particular focus on real estate litigation, advising on a wide range of contentious property matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Handling lease renewals, forfeiture and dilapidations claims
  • Acting on rent, service charge and possession disputes
  • Assisting with development-related disputes and option agreements
  • Advising on rights of light, boundary and easement disputes
  • Representing clients in tribunal and court proceedings, including the High Court
  • Supporting on ADR processes including mediation and settlement negotiations

The team handles disputes across commercial, residential and mixed-use property portfolios.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 1–4 years’ PQE with experience in property litigation
  • Strong grounding in landlord & tenant and real estate disputes
  • Experience of court procedures and/or ADR
  • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with clients
