The Role

• As a Family Paralegal, you’ll assist solicitors and partners across a varied caseload, including :
• Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private law children matters
• Cohabitation and separation agreements
• Domestic abuse and injunction work
• General administrative and client care support
• You’ll be expected to handle initial client enquiries, prepare court bundles, draft correspondence, and liaise with clients, counsel, and third parties.

The Person

• Minimum of 6-12 months’ experience working as a Family Paralegal or Legal Assistant (private or public family law).
• A strong academic background (LLB, LPC, or SQE advantageous).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, discreet, and professional when handling sensitive matters.
• A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in family law.
