Claimant RTA & EL/PL

Location - Middleton

Salary - Dependent on experience

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor / Fee Earner to join a busy and established claimant PI team based in Middleton.

The role will involve handling a caseload of approximately 150 litigated and non-litigated files covering predominantly RTA matters, with some EL/PL work. Candidates should be confident managing files from inception through to settlement and have experience working to targets within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of around 150 claimant PI matters
  • Handling predominantly RTA claims with some EL/PL files
  • Progressing files through the MOJ Portal and litigated stages where required
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical agencies and counsel
  • Negotiating settlements and maximising recovery for clients
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
  • Previous claimant PI experience essential
  • Strong knowledge of RTA litigation and MOJ processes
  • EL/PL experience advantageous
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
