🟡 Salary circa £16 p/h dependent on experience

We are pleased to assist a fantastic local business with their search for a part-time bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for anybody local to Oldham, with strong accountancy experience and seeking part time hours or needs a role to work around or complement other commitments.

Key duties will include:

~ Maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, aged debtors, credit control

~ Processing journals, balance sheet & wages reconciliations

~ Processing payroll (circa. 25 staff) pension and HMRC/Pensions Regulator reporting

~ Updating policies and procedures, streamlining accounts processes to maximise efficiency and reduce errors

In order to be considered for this one, you need to have significant experience in a similar role. You will be well versed with SAGE and IRIS and will ideally be AAT qualified. This is a stand alone role, which utilises an external accountancy firm for month & year end and audit, so you need to be confident in your capabilities and able to manage and maintain your own workload. You will be a strong communicator, with great focus and attention to detail. As with any role of this type, you will need to work with accuracy and integrity.

Salary is around the £16.00 per hour point (negotiable), dependent on experience, and employment will initially commence on a temporary basis.

This business is nestled in the beautiful Saddleworth hills, so you will need to be relatively local in order to be commutable – we are unable to support sponsorship or relocations.
