A well-established claimant law firm based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its growing litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to manage a varied caseload of housing disrepair matters on behalf of tenants, working within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to settlement/trial
- Conducting litigation under the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement negotiations
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and housing associations/local authorities
- Supporting the continued growth of the department
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with housing disrepair experience / civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of housing litigation and civil procedure (CPR)
- Ability to manage files independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Organised, commercially aware, and target driven
