A highly respected Tier 2 Corporate team in Central Manchester is seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE to join their expanding department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, high-quality transactional matters within a modern, commercially driven and well-resourced practice.
You’ll join a top-performing corporate group acting for an impressive portfolio of regional, national, and international clients—including owner-managed businesses, institutional investors, PE-backed companies, and fast-growth scale-ups. You will work on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions (buyer and seller side)
- Private equity transactions
- Joint ventures and shareholder agreements
- Corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Investment rounds and venture capital work
- General corporate advisory and governance matters
You will run your own matters with partner support while collaborating on larger, strategically significant deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of corporate transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate documents.
- Support senior lawyers on complex or high-value transactions.
- Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and commercial awareness.
- Participate in business development and networking initiatives as the team continues its strategic growth.
- Work effectively within a highly collaborative, partner-led team.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years PQE in corporate work.
- Solid transactional experience, ideally from a reputable regional, national, or city firm.
- Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in high-quality corporate transactional work.
- Confident managing client relationships and delivering commercially-focused advice.
- Ambitious, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with excellent communication and drafting skills.
