We are recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor / Fee Earner to join a busy and established claimant PI team based in Middleton.
The role will involve handling a caseload of approximately 150 litigated and non-litigated files covering predominantly RTA matters, with some EL/PL work. Candidates should be confident managing files from inception through to settlement and have experience working to targets within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of around 150 claimant PI matters
- Handling predominantly RTA claims with some EL/PL files
- Progressing files through the MOJ Portal and litigated stages where required
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical agencies and counsel
- Negotiating settlements and maximising recovery for clients
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner
- Previous claimant PI experience essential
- Strong knowledge of RTA litigation and MOJ processes
- EL/PL experience advantageous
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
