The Role

As a Police Station Accredited Crime Paralegal, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients in custody, providing essential legal advice and representation at the police station. You’ll also support solicitors in managing ongoing criminal matters, preparing case files, and liaising with key agencies including the police, CPS, and courts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend police stations (both in person and remotely) to represent and advise clients following arrest or detention.
  • Prepare detailed attendance notes, case summaries, and documentation for solicitors and counsel.

  • Ensure full compliance with LAA, SRA, and firm-specific policies.
  • Participate in on-call rotas, with enhanced pay for unsocial hours.
