An established UK organisation is entering a major phase of ERP and business transformation and is looking for an experienced Oracle NetSuite Functional Consultant to take ownership of its NetSuite OneWorld environment. This is a key in-house subject matter expert role, reporting at senior level, with genuine influence over system design, configuration and how NetSuite supports finance and operational teams across the group. If you enjoy shaping systems rather than just supporting them, this role offers real autonomy and long-term impact. Initially finance-focused, the position will naturally broaden over time as the ERP roadmap evolves.
The role:
- Act as the functional owner and administrator of a NetSuite OneWorld environment
- Design and deliver end-to-end NetSuite solutions aligned to business needs
- Configure NetSuite modules, workflows, dashboards and reporting
- Partner closely with Finance, IT and wider stakeholders to understand processes and drive improvements
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops and translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions
- Support system testing, UAT and deployments
- Deliver user training and ongoing functional support to maximise adoption
- Define and maintain dashboards, reports, saved searches and KPIs
- Manage NetSuite governance, including roles and permissions
- Identify risks, limitations and optimisation opportunities, proposing pragmatic solutions
- Maintain documentation for processes, configurations and ERP standards
- Support ERP initiatives from discovery through to delivery
What they’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on functional experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP (OneWorld highly desirable)
- Proven experience across the full NetSuite lifecycle (implementation and/or in-life support)
- Solid understanding of finance processes, including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and balancing competing priorities
- Comfortable leading workshops, training sessions and design discussions
- Analytical, structured and pragmatic in approach
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
Essential skills:
- NetSuite configuration: workflows, saved searches, reporting and dashboards
- Experience delivering or supporting at least one significant ERP implementation
- Understanding of core operational and logistical business processes
- Experience delivering user training (one-to-one and group sessions)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple workstreams
Nice to have:
- Exposure to SuiteScript or close collaboration with NetSuite technical teams
- Experience with cloud-based finance platforms
- Experience in multi-subsidiary or international environments
