A leading regional firm in Hertfordshire is looking to hire a 5-7PQE Senior Associate to join its tier 1 Legal 500 Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Associates looking for the step up, or for established Senior Associates looking for a move to a top legal 500 team.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise a range of clients from SMEs and entrepreneurs to larger corporate organisations, specialising in M&As, and restructurings. You will play a key role in managing transactions from inception to completion, supervising and delegating tasks to Associates, building strong client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives. The role offers exposure to high-quality work, direct client contact, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The Candidate
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience in Corporate law.
- Strong experience across private M&A law, with the ability to run transactions.
- Experience working on private equity deals preferred.
- Experience working in a reputable regional or London firm.
- Commercially minded with excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Keen to take on responsibility and contribute to the growth of a busy practice.
