Head of Property β Liverpool
I'm working with an established law firm looking to bring in an experienced Head of Property to lead and develop its property department.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on conveyancing, team management and business development, with the chance to play a key role in the department's continued growth.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the property team, supporting and managing fee earners.
- Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, brokers, lenders and clients to generate new business.
- Contribute to departmental business planning, financial performance and wider firm strategy.
- Maintain high standards of client service, file management and compliance.
- Support the development and training of colleagues within the team.
What They're Looking For
- An experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX-qualified professional.
- A strong background in residential conveyancing, including freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered titles.
- Previous experience managing a team or leading a property department.
- A proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business through referrers.
- A commercial mindset, with experience working towards financial targets.
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Commercial property experience would be beneficial but isn't essential.
What's on Offer?
- The opportunity to lead and develop an established property department.
- A senior position with genuine scope to influence the team's direction and growth.
- A varied role combining fee earning, leadership and business development.
- A supportive firm with opportunities for further career development.
