A well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking high-quality work, autonomy over cases and long-term career development within a supportive environment.
The Role
You will manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, handling files from initial instruction through to resolution, including litigated cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims
- Conducting case assessments, investigations and legal research
- Advising clients on complex and sensitive clinical negligence issues
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
- Managing litigation in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols
- Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts and third parties
- Attending conferences, mediations and court hearings where required
- Ensuring high standards of client care and file management
About You
- Qualified Solicitor
- Experience in clinical negligence litigation (PQE level flexible)
- Strong understanding of CPR and clinical negligence procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload
- Compassionate, client-focused approach
- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
