An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice or Client Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice in Coventry. This role has become available as the current owners prepare to exit the business within the next year following a recent acquisition.
The firm currently operates with a team of 13 and generates approximately £1.2m turnover, supporting a diverse portfolio of locally based SME clients across a broad range of industry sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and people-focused individual looking to take on a key leadership position.
The Role
You would play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the client services team, ensuring excellent delivery standards and maintaining strong client relationships. While there will be some client delivery responsibilities, the primary focus of the role will be team leadership, workflow management and overseeing client service delivery. The firm outsources its compliance work, allowing the Client Manager to focus more heavily on client management, team development and operational oversight.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience operating in a Manager-level role within an accountancy practice
- Strong team management and leadership expertise
- Proven client management and client delivery experience
