As part of our continued strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join our team in Leeds, strengthening our presence in the Yorkshire legal market. The Role
- Lead on all aspects of commercial litigation, handling complex and high-value disputes including contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, commercial fraud, business torts, and insolvency-related litigation.
- Provide strategic, commercially driven advice to a diverse client base including SMEs, PLCs, institutional clients, and international businesses.
- Drive business development and expand the firm's litigation offering across Leeds, Yorkshire, and beyond.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on risk and dispute strategy.
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
- Work flexibly, supported by a hybrid working model and home working allowance.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with significant commercial litigation experience at Partner level.
- Proven in managing complex commercial disputes with strong commercial judgement.
- Client-focused, ambitious, and motivated to grow a team and practice offering.
- Strong communicator with business development capability.
- Ideally with an established network and/or client following (desirable, not essential).
