An established UK care franchise network with 70 franchise partners nationwide is seeking an experienced Commercial Director to drive sustainable revenue growth, protect margin, and embed commercial discipline across the network. This is a senior, influence-led leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Operations Director. The focus is on private-pay growth, pricing governance, and franchisee commercial performance within a regulated, values-led care environment.
The Role
- Own and deliver the commercial strategy across a 70-franchisee network
- Drive private-pay revenue growth and improve client mix
- Set and enforce pricing and margin frameworks
- Support franchisees with tenders, pricing and contract negotiations
- Reduce exposure to loss-making and low-margin contracts
- Grow franchisor fee income and new commercial revenue streams
- Provide clear, data-led commercial insight to the Board
(This role does not manage care delivery or CQC compliance.)
About the Candidate
- Senior commercial leadership experience in a franchise, multi-site or networked business
- Proven track record of revenue growth with margin protection
- Strong pricing, P&L and commercial forecasting capability
- Comfortable influencing and constructively challenging franchise owners
- Experience in care, healthcare or regulated services is desirable
