The Opportunity

A well-established claimant law firm based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its growing litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to manage a varied caseload of housing disrepair matters on behalf of tenants, working within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

  • Managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to settlement/trial
  • Conducting litigation under the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement negotiations
  • Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and housing associations/local authorities
  • Supporting the continued growth of the department

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with housing disrepair experience / civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of housing litigation and civil procedure (CPR)
  • Ability to manage files independently
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Organised, commercially aware, and target driven
