A family run organisation in Stockport is looking for a new fractional Finance professional to join their team on an interim basis, most likely looking at 2-3 days per week initially. This business turnover around £5m per annum, so experience working within an SME would be ideal. This business operates within the Service & Facilities Management sector and are looking for a candidate with robust business knowledge across all areas who can review and modernise the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Identifying areas for cost saving across the business – implementing and rolling out these changes across the business successfully
- Digitalisation of the business – this business is currently very paper based and needs modernising to improve efficiencies
- Reviewing current procedures and processes, making suggestions for improvements
- General reviewing of the business as a whole to improve within any problem areas, to ultimately improve profitability and achieve business objectives
The ideal candidate will be a qualified or QBE candidate with a strong finance background, and previous experience working within an SME in a similar sector, with exposure to different business areas. You must be able to work onsite in Stockport on your days with this business so please only apply if you live within commutable distance to Manchester. Experience working on similar projects would be ideal, with strong stakeholder management, IT skills and cost saving experience. Rate circa £500 per day outside of IR35.
