Key Responsibilities
- Managing a litigated caseload independently across Small, Fast and Multi Track claims
- Reviewing and assessing claim merits and advising clients accordingly
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, skeleton arguments and settlement documentation
- Preparing trial bundles and ensuring matters are trial-ready
- Pursuing disclosure and analysing complex financial documentation
- Conducting and/or preparing for Preliminary, Directions and Allocation Hearings
- Supervising paralegal work, including reviewing and signing off documentation
- Keeping up to date with legal developments in financial litigation and consumer credit
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent client care
- Contributing positively to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in financial litigation or consumer credit disputes
- Proven experience managing a litigated caseload to a high standard
- Strong drafting, advocacy and legal research skills
- Demonstrable experience handling Fast Track and Multi Track matters
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is highly desirable
- Confident, professional communicator with strong client-handling skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage court deadlines effectively
