The Role
- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, handling files from initial instruction through to resolution, including litigated cases.
- Conduct case assessments, investigations and legal research.
- Advise clients on complex and sensitive clinical negligence issues.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements and court documentation.
- Manage litigation in line with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, medical experts and third parties.
- Attend conferences, mediations and court hearings where required.
- Ensure high standards of client care and file management.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor.
- Experience in clinical negligence litigation (PQE level flexible).
- Strong understanding of CPR and clinical negligence procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
- Compassionate, client-focused approach.
- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
